Class of June 1955
From JACK FORDE Feb 2012
After graduating from Lowell I played trumpet professionally with some major big bands, after traveling on the road for a time playing the horn I returned back home to S.F..
I was hired as stage manager with Ice Capades. I traveled through out the world with that show for ten years and in the interim learned the stage lighting end of the show.
After leaving Ice Capades I moved to Las Vegas to learn the art of theatrical stage lighting. I lived in Las Vegas from 1969 to 1992 and learned my craft well, I was hired to light shows for Bobby Darin, Debbie Reynolds, Lola Falona for five years, and Wayne Newton. Later after leaving Las Vegas I moved to Carson City NV to retire, I thought. Robert Goulet asked me to light his shows in Reno NV which I did and then I finally settled here in La Quinta CA.. So if there is any classmates in the area please send me an email.
This is just a Very Very Short Bio of my life ( I could write a book).
Kind Regards
Jack Forde
