Went to Berkeley from Spring of 1955 returned home (Pakistan) in Spring 1959. Have had a corporate career including with Esso, later  Exxon, in Paksitan in fertilzers and chemicals. Spent bulk of period after 1977 in Dubai and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, working as CEO with Dubai/UK and Saudi/UK Joint Venture Cos in Dubai and Jeddah. Was adjunct faculty from 2000 for eight years  in Business School in Karachi. Married  in 1964, wife holds Masters from Punjab Univ. Have a son in mid 40 in top Govt position, a daughter with MBA who worked for Unilever, now married to British national of Pak origin, a Chartered Accountant and Investment Banker. Youngest is son 39,  He is Business Head of leading English lang paper in Pakistan, published in collaboration with IHT. He also heads the bus sec of its  TV channel.  His wife holds a  Ph.D in Sociology from North Western in Chicago. My wife is full time faculty at leading Bus School in Karachi, she teaches social studies subjects and researches and publishes papers on gender issues. Have four grandsons and a grand daughter born this month.
